The Kinder Care Schedule
- Kindercare operates opposite your child’s Kindergarten class. For ex. If your child attends Kindergarten in the AM, they would attend Kindercare in the PM. Your child will be taken to and from their classes each day.
- During the Kindercare program, children are offered a variety of activities! Different stations are set out each day for the children to explore at their leisure (playdough, specialized games or tasks, audio books, etc.) Everyday the main areas are also open for playing, these include a block/building area, an art area, a dramatic play area, a doll area, and a quiet/reading area. There are planned activities each day for the children to participate in, such as baking, painting, sensory play (shaving cream, rice, sand, etc.), storybook making and more! When the weather permits, small outings are planned. We visit nearby stores for ice cream treats, or fresh fruit. In the summer we have picnics, go for walks, and visit nearby spray parks or paddling pools. In the winter we go sledding and warm up with hot chocolate! We go outside most days to use the playground as well.
